It still feels strange to say, but Heartland Season 19 is officially done — aired, streamed, and finished.
CBC rolled out the season back on October 5, 2025, airing weekly on CBC and streaming on CBC Gem. By then, filming in Alberta had already wrapped months earlier, and the show had moved quietly through post-production like it always does.
Season 19 kept the familiar 10-episode format, and honestly, it worked. The pacing felt tighter, the stories more focused, and the emotional moments had room to land without dragging things out.
And yes — the cast fans care about most was still there.

Amber Marshall returned as Amy Fleming, continuing her life as she balanced motherhood, her reputation in the horse world, and what she wanted next. It didn’t feel rushed or forced — just very Amy.
The Bartlett-Fleming core held steady. Michelle Morgan (Lou) was back managing ranch pressure and personal decisions, while Shaun Johnston (Jack) remained the center of everything — the kind of presence the show simply doesn’t work without.
Season 19 also brought back familiar faces to the ranch.
Nathan Pryce remained part of the story, with Spencer Lord continuing his complicated connection with Amy. Georgie returned as well, with Alisha Newton appearing later in the season after time away, and it felt like a homecoming.
Longtime fans also spent more time with Caleb and Ashley — Kerry James and Cindy Busby — adding history that only works because their stories go back so far.
Season 19 didn’t rely only on nostalgia. New characters joined naturally, expanding the ranch world without overwhelming it — and setting up relationships that could continue into what comes next.
Where to Watch
In Canada, the season aired on CBC and streamed on CBC Gem.
For U.S. viewers, Season 19 arrived on UP Faith & Family in November 2025, with episodes released weekly and finishing in early 2026. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a big improvement over the delays fans were used to.
So… What About Season 20?
No one has a firm answer to that yet.
Heartland has not been officially renewed for Season 20. But it also hasn’t been canceled — and that matters.
This show has a long history of late renewals. And with storylines clearly still moving forward, Season 19 doesn’t feel like an ending.
It feels like a pause.
The ranch is still there.
Nothing’s been wrapped up.
They just haven’t announced it yet.
