Actress Offers Rare Glimpse into Family Life After Show's End
NCIS: Los Angeles actress Daniela Ruah offered some of her cherished moments as a mom after Mother's Day.
In a recent post on Instagram, she offered an uncommon peek into her life as a parent of two, sharing heartwarming pictures of her cuddling with her children in bed and posing for a selfie in the swimming pool with her own mother. These little snippets make being a mother truly special for Ruah.
Her children, River Isaac and Sierra Esther, are both shared with her spouse, David Paul Olsen.
Ruah included her furry companions in the post by sharing a few slides featuring her dogs, who were shown showering her with loving kisses.
"Mothering…" she captioned the Instagram post, adding in Portuguese, "To be a mom…"
"So sweet Daniela," one fan exclaimed under Monday's pictures, while another person remarked, "motherhood is mothering!"
In 2013, Ruah and Olsen welcomed their first child in December, and three years later, they welcomed their second child, Sierra, in September 2016. They tied the knot in 2014 after meeting a few years earlier through Olsen's brother, Eric Christian Olsen, who also plays Ruah's television husband on NCIS: Los Angeles.
However, they are now saying goodbye to their roles as Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks as NCIS: Los Angeles is coming to an end.
The first part of the two-part series finale aired on Sunday, and the final episode will air on May 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
