Bridget Moynahan had an early window into her Blue Bloods character

Moynahan, who was born in Binghamton, New York, grew up in an Irish Catholic family, much like her character Erin Reagan Boyle in Blue Bloods. She was the only girl in the family and a middle child. Moynahan says that they used to have dinner together just like the Reagans, but it was not as intense.

Bridget Moynahan has a fitness secret

"I like mashed potatoes, but you can't eat them for four hours and stay in shape," she says of the Reagan family's weekly dinner scenes, which can take hours to film. "So mostly I just try to move the potatoes around with my fork."

Vanessa Ray and Will Estes were unsure about on-screen coupling

The #Jamko team was a bit unsure when the Blue Bloods producers decided to make Eddie Janko and Jamie Reagan a couple in the Season 9 finale. Vanessa Ray mentioned that there was some resistance, as they weren't sure where the storyline would go from there.

Will Estes says that they were kinda nervous about what it would mean when they finally got together.

Vanessa Ray believes in seizing the moment

When Vanessa Ray went for her Blue Bloods callback, the casting director got stuck in an elevator and said they could reschedule. But she was feeling super confident that day and was ready to go, so she just hung out for two hours until the fire department fixed things.

Bridget Moynahan is bookish about shoes

In April, Bridget Moynahan teamed up with Amanda Benchley to release their second book, Our Shoes, Our Selves. The book features 40 stories from 40 women, each paired with a special pair of shoes.

After getting into decluttering, she decided to gather stories and pics of cool shoes from 40 famous women, like Barbara Bush, Danica Patrick, and Maya Lin.

When Blue Bloods announced that Danny Reagan's wife Linda (played by Amy Carlson) had died, Donnie Wahlberg got really emotional. He just sat there thinking about the seven years they worked together, and how she wasn't there anymore. He just let his heart feel all what it felt.

Bridget Moynahan is a total natural in front of the camera. She started off as a fashion model and then scored a major acting break playing Natasha on Sex and the City.

After being in the spotlight for a bit, the actress snagged a bigger role on the show and then ended up landing some sweet roles in movies like Coyote Ugly, I, Robot (with Will Smith), and The Sum of All Fears (starring Ben Affleck).

Which cast member is the ultimate goofball on set? Apparently, it's Donnie Wahlberg according to the rest of the gang.

The actor from Blue Bloods confessed that he's totally guilty. He said that sometimes he and Marisa Ramirez (Maria Baez) just can't stop laughing. They tell jokes while they're not filming, or if someone messes up a line, they have to stop filming for like 20 minutes until they can stop giggling.
