We have seen Taylor Swift cheer on Travis Kelce from the luxury suites of the NFL all season, but this weekend, the roles flipped a bit. The engaged couple headed to Cleveland for some NBA playoff action, and Travis did what Travis does best: he chugged a beer on the giant scoreboard to pump up the crowd.
And Taylor’s reaction? Absolutely priceless.
On Saturday, May 23, the two sat courtside at Rocket Arena for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. Since Travis grew up in Cleveland Heights, he was naturally on his feet doing everything he could to get the home crowd hyped.
When the arena’s Jumbotron panned to them, Travis didn’t hesitate. He grabbed a can of beer, threw his head back, and downed the entire thing in seconds before grinning and waving his hands to the cheering crowd.
The camera immediately cut to Taylor, who reacted exactly how you would if your fiancé did that on live TV: she buried her face in her hands and started laughing, looking totally embarrassed before looking up to clap along with everyone else.
They both kept things casual for the date night. Taylor wore a simple black tank top with a blue denim jacket, baggy jeans, and heels, while Travis repped his hometown with a Cavs cap, a short-sleeved denim shirt, and sneakers. Unfortunately for Travis, his beer-chugging wasn’t quite enough to bring home a win—the Knicks ended up taking the game 121-108.
The Ohio trip comes right after a busy week of date nights in New York City, where they were spotted dining at Sartiano’s in SoHo and grabbing drinks at Honey’s in Brooklyn.
It has been about nine months since they announced their engagement back in August 2025 with that iconic “your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married” Instagram post. And while sources say they are planning a much more private, low-key wedding for the future, it is clear they are still having a blast out in public.
